Sun Blessed Morning

The sun does spill on every flower

the nectar and the dew

On this a blessed morning

created for me and you.

I’m resting here on my rocking chair

basking in the nice warm air

This is a morning of pure delight

I’m precious in His sight.

Tulips and Daffodils

Pretty tulips and daffodils

when I see them, my hearts does thrill

To see those pretty colors in springtime

before it’s summer.

When I saw them I stood still

I was walking in the hills

It’s nice to see them growing there

in their natural habitats

It makes you want to sigh

and stare each year,

how good is that?

What Makes A Dad

God took the strength of a mountain,

The majesty of a tree,

The warmth of a summer sun,

The calm of a quiet sea,

The generous soul of nature,

The comforting arm of night,

The wisdom of the ages,

The power of the eagle's flight,

The joy of a morning in spring,

The faith of a mustard seed,

The patience of eternity,

The depth of a family need,

Then God combined these qualities,

When there was nothing more to add,

He knew His masterpiece was complete,

And so, He called it ... Dad

Your Eyes Are Ever Fixed

Wherever You are Lord,

You are fully there.

Every part of You is listening

When I offer up a prayer.

Your omnipresence shines

And thrills my very heart,

For Lord I have You fully

Not just a random part.

When I turn my eyes to You,

I find with utter glee,

That Your eyes are ever fixed

And fastened upon me.

No need have I to turn

Your thoughts unto my way.

Your thoughts ever dwell there

As I go about the day.

So when I turn my eyes

In search of Your dear face,

I find You ever loyal

Within Your faithful place.

To all You call Your own,

Such love You do bestow.

I may not understand it,

But I believe it and I know:

You will never be too busy

That Your eye will turn and stray.

You will never be too busy

That You neglect to watch my way.

Praise You precious Jesus!

Your love I ever feel.

Praise You precious Jesus!

Your care is very real.

And when I turn my eyes to You,

I find with utter glee,

That Your eyes are ever fixed

And fastened upon me.

Morning in Spring

In the early morning light

I see such sights__

Spring is bursting in the air

Flowers are budding everywhere

Yes Spring is full of Joyful flowers

And warm refreshing showers.

What Does Love Mean?

If love means to cherish,

and honor a sweet soul.

Inscribed on my heart,

with you I feel whole.

If love means to be patient,

cheerful and kind.

Nothing is more important,

than you on my mind.

If love means to be selfless,

and always forgive.

A mere glance into your eyes,

and forever I'll live.

If love means to joyously,

every moment to share.

For your continued happiness,

more than anything, I care.

If love means to always,

listen and respect.

With every soft kiss,

I strive to connect.

If love means to give up,

all the mountains on earth.

I would do so instantly,

for our love has infinite worth.

If love means to be there,

through the thick and the thin.

With your love in my heart,

each day I shall win.

Finding Faith in a Flower

Sometimes when faith is running low

And I cannot fathom why things are so,

I walk among the flowers that grow

And learn the answers to all I would know…

For among my flowers I have come to see

Life’s miracle and it’s mystery,

And standing in silence and reverie,

My faith comes flooding back to me.

A Lovely way to Praise The Lord

It's a lovely day to praise the Lord

For a day that's fresh and new,

That's filled with nature's beauty,

Created just for you.

It's a lovely day to look, to see,

The flowers, the trees, the birds,

The music of their voices rings,

None sweeter can be heard.

It's a lovely day to thank the Lord,

As all around we see

The vastness of blue skies above,

and feel the summer breeze.

It's a lovely day to think of how

He cares for us each day.

As we journey in this life,

He's there to lead the way.
